And this is how it happened: we wanted to free [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---], known since ancient times, from its image as another sweet for children.
Europe made it possible! We researched from Iceland to Sicily and set off in search of the country's typical [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---]. Salt [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---], [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---] with salmiak, the original coconut [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---] from England, the French [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---] manufacturers with their family recipes. 
The car smelled of [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---] with aniseed, honey, elderberry and vanilla. In Italy, we tasted [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---] liqueur, [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---] grappa and how [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---] is used as a [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Spice]---6a66cdabb24ec---], for example in cooking. I thought I knew quite a bit about [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---], but this variety surprised me and made me want to showcase it in a special [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---] shop. That's how kadó, Germany's first [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---] shop, came about. Founded in 1997 in Berlin Kreuzberg out of a passion for [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---]. 

Since then, there has been only one product: [---6a66cdabb24ec---[Liquorice]---6a66cdabb24ec---]. But this comes in 600 varieties, ALL of which taste different.
